Who are you and what does your company represent?
Merus Power is a Finnish listed technology company that promotes energy efficiency and the transition to sustainable energy. We design and manufacture in Finland EPC BESS, STATCOMs for compensation and active harmonic filters.
What solutions and services do you offer?
We deliver battery energy storage systems (BESS), including grid-forming and co-located (hybrid) systems. The use cases for our compensators (STATCOM) include metal, renewable and data center solutions. Typical applications for our active harmonic filters include variable frequency drive (VFD) loads. Our operating model covers the full lifecycle from design and manufacturing to commissioning and maintenance.
Why are you participating and what do you hope to achieve?
We help Swedish electricity system balance the timing of energy production and consumption, enabling the system flexibility. We also increase industrial energy efficiency and process reliability.
